This Thing Called Life

I had a dream of being able to stay home with my kids but had no idea how I could do it and continue to make ends meet. About 10 years ago I began blogging in the hopes of becoming successful at it. I began my blogging journey as a savings and deal site. As frequently as possible I would post about different store savings and coupon opportunities. I thought that by sharing my "frugal finds" that I might entice an audience of readers to check out my blog. I don't have a big family or friend network so I was really stretching my luck here. Needless to say I had hoped to be one of the lucky few to earn money from my blog. Sadly that didn't happen and my blog dreams fizzled and I stopped posting. Today, 10 years later, I stumbled across my old blog and thought, why not write.  So, here I am and a lot has changed in the last 10+ years.
